Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT)
Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy (BHRT) can be very beneficial to patients who have a hormone imbalance or have previously tried other hormonal medications, including HRT, and experienced unwanted effects. Each prescription is personalised especially for you, to exactly treat your imbalance.
We aim to offer the very best personalised treatment, gaining insight from thorough consultations and examining everything from lifestyle and family history to all relevant medical tests. We provide a seamless treatment process, enabling the patient to completely focus on their treatment.
We carry out a comprehensive consultation and undertake appropriate tests in order to evaluate the full picture. If a hormonal imbalance is diagnosed, a personalised treatment plan of bio-identical hormones is made specifically for the patient.
This treatment plan also includes regular follow ups and ongoing monitoring to help achieve optimum results. Our patients’ care and safety is fundamental to all that we do, and our thorough treatment plans and tests enable the RRMG Team to work very closely with each individual patient.

WHAT ARE BIO-IDENTICAL HORMONES?
Bio-identical hormones have the same chemical structure as the naturally occurring hormones which are produced in the body and are derived from diosgenin, which is sourced from Mexican yams. They are 100% identical in chemical structure to our own hormones, and their effects and benefits replicate them closely.
This chemical structure of the hormones prescribed at the RRMG clinic is 100% the same as that of the naturally occurring hormones produced by your glands. Therefore, their effects are more consistent with the normal biochemistry of your body than those of synthetic hormones.
Side effects whilst on bio-identical hormones are very rare. However, once on the treatment and should you experience any mild sensitivity to the medication please get in touch with our team.
