To begin with, Dr. Rogers gained a degree in psychology at the University of Delaware. But this wasn’t enough for him and he travelled from the US to Europe.
The next stop was the University of Leuven where he received his medical training in Flemish.
After graduating, Ralph returned to the US to pursue a PhD in exercise physiology at the University of Maryland, where he was also awarded a research fellowship from the National Institute of Health (NIH).
Next on the agenda was a return to Belgium where Ralph completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Free University of Brussels.
Europe had captivated Ralph’s imagination, and he headed on to England where he established a thriving private medical practice in Birmingham.
Consistent progression of education has always been vital to Ralph’s philosophy, and he continued his studies at the University of Leicester, gaining an MBA and researching ‘organisational networking in sports medical services in English professional football’.
Dr. Ralph Rogers has also recently completed a Master of Science (MSc) in musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging with the use of platelet-rich plasma.
